When it comes to Sony’s various subscription services, it seems most of the attention goes to PlayStation Plus. However, PlayStation Now arguably offers significantly more bang for the buck, as it features hundreds of games for players to choose from and regularly adds titles every month. Sony has since announced the PlayStation Now games that are coming in November 2021, which will consist of four new games.

Starting Tuesday, November 2, PlayStation Now subscribers can look forward to Mafia: Definitive Edition, Celeste, Final Fantasy 9, and Totally Reliable Delivery Service. This matches up with the recent PlayStation Now November 2021 leak, which claimed that both Mafia and Celeste would be part of the lineup.

Mafia: Definitive Edition is the remastered version of the open world crime gang Mafia, which plays like a more serious take on the Grand Theft Auto series. PlayStation Now subscribers interested in Mafia should note that it will be removed on February 28, so they have a few months to play it. Celeste, meanwhile, is a critically-acclaimed, award-winning 2D platformer. Totally Reliable Delivery Service is a quirky co-op game, whereas Final Fantasy 9 is the enhanced version of the classic PlayStation 1 JRPG. No removal dates were announced for any of the other new PlayStation Now games for November 2021.

PlayStation Now New Games for November 2021 List

  • Celeste
  • Final Fantasy 9
  • Mafia: Definitive Edition (until February 28, 2022)
  • Totally Reliable Delivery Service

While Mafia: Definitive Edition, Celeste, and Totally Reliable Delivery Service were just confirmed with the recent announcement, Final Fantasy 9 has been known about for some time now. Final Fantasy 9’s debut on the service is part of an initiative to bring Final Fantasy games to PlayStation Now. This started when Final Fantasy 7 was added to PlayStation Now and September, and continued when Final Fantasy 8 was added in October.

Looking ahead, PlayStation Now subscribers have even more Final Fantasy games to look forward to. In December, Final Fantasy 10/10-2 HD Remaster will come to PlayStation Now, and then Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age will be added in January 2022. That will bring an end to the Final Fantasy games coming to PlayStation Now, but it’s possible that even more FF games will come to the service down the line.

Sony usually doesn’t announce the new PlayStation Now games for the month until the month itself arrives, so fans will likely have to wait at least a month until they learn about the next batch of PlayStation Now games. But while PlayStation Now subscribers don’t know all the games coming in December 2021, they do know that Grand Theft Auto 3: The Definitive Edition will be part of the lineup.
